| Update
and Configure Outlook Express
Important - Before you get started we recommend you update
your version of Internet Explorer and Outlook Express to the
latest versions.
To do this - start Internet Explorer and select
TOOLS - WINDOWS
UPDATE from the toolbar
Download and install Internet Explorer and
Outlook Express including any recommended security patches
(This download could take up to an hour on a 56k Modem)
How to Configure
Outlook Express for use with a Three Spires Web Hosting Account
Step - 1
Start Outlook Express
Select: TOOLS
- ACCOUNTS
Click the MAIL
tab then select ADD and MAIL

Step - 2
Enter your name as you would like others to see it
when you send them an e-mail.

Step - 3
Enter your e-mail address

Step - 4
Select POP3 from the
drop-down box.
Fill in the Incoming Mail field as shown below.
The Outgoing Mail (SMTP) details will depend on your own
Internet Service Provider. If you are unsure of this information
please check their help pages or contact their technical support
team.

Step - 5
Enter your Account Name and Password. (These were created
when you set up your mailbox in the online Control
Panel)

Step - 6
Click the finish button and that's
it - you are done. Congratulations
