If you already have a domain name registered or you prefer to register your domains with a third party, you can transfer these domain names onto your Three Spires account.

Completing the transfer is a straightforward process but varies depending on the extension of the domain name.

UK Domain Names (.co.uk, .org.uk .ltd.uk & .plc.uk)

To transfer a UK domain you must contact the current hosting company, and request that they amend the record for your domain name as follows.

The propagation of the name server changes and the domain thus being hosted on our network may take up to 48 hours.

GTLD Domain Names (.com, .net & .org)

To transfer a GTLD domain onto our network, you must have its name servers updated as follows.

Primary Nameserver ns1.threespires.co.uk (81.21.65.132)
Secondary Nameserver ns2.threespires.co.uk (195.10.228.132)

The propagation of name server changes and the domain thus being hosted on our network may take up to 48 hours. Once complete the hosting of the web site and email for this domain name will be handled by your Three Spires account, however the administrative control of your domain name will remain with its existing registrar and you will not be able to manage or renew the domain name via your Three Spires control panel.

All Other Domain Names
To transfer a domain name in any other extension, you must contact the current hosting company, and request that they amend the record for your domain name as follows.

Primary Nameserver ns1.donhost.co.uk (81.21.65.132)
Secondary Nameserver ns2.donhost.co.uk (195.10.228.132)

This will configure the domain name to be hosted on our network. You will continue to be invoiced for all future renewals of your top level domain name by the current hosting company. Three Spires cannot currently accept registrar transfers for domain names in other extensions.

Transfer Administative Control of GTLD Domain to Three Spires
GTLD domain names with .com, .net, .org, .biz, and .info extensions can be transferred fully to our administrative control. Once a GTLD transfer is complete, its previous registrar has no control or responsibility for the domain name.
